Life in a Consistently Inconsistent Chapter

Right now Kelcey and I are at a stage in our lives where consistency doesn't exist. We are in the dark as to where were going to be in the next 6 months. My job situation may have me moving closer or farther away and she is finishing her internship and then will be job searching as well. I must say that we are both strong enough to over come all of these obstacles. We are at a point in our relationship where it has never been better, well minus the not seeing each other as much part.

Long distance relationships are hard and not for everyone. Both people have to give and be respectable of the others feelings. Right now my biggest problem is not being able to see her when I want! 3 hours isn't that far in the scheme of things but it is just far enough that planning has to be taken for us to visit.

One thing is for certain though, a long distance relationship makes you realize all the little things that you would typically over look. All the little things are the things that make the relationship so much more.

My Growing Love Affair For 70's Japanese

Lately, for some reason I have become increasingly obsessed with 70's Japanese sports cars and coupes. After all, they paved the way for the import scene today and most still have a growing cult following. Something has always been there for me in terms of old sports cars. I have always been a Z fan, as I own 2 92' 300zx's, so that only made the 240Z stand out. The more I looked at them on HybridZ and RatSun the more they grew on me. Through, those 2 websites I found numerous other cars that had never before popped into my head.

The Datsun 510 had always been a car that I loved but nothing I ever took a liking to until I saw 20-30 page build threads and realized just how beautiful these cars really are. There sleek design and endless engine options make them a dream for old school car guys. I've seen one with even a Twin Turbo V12. They also have that cool 70's California feel to them.

Another is the 70's Toyota Celica. There are some absolute stunning examples of these cars out there. My personal favorite is Koichiro Kanda's 71 Celica. It has been featured in numerous magazines and has been blogged more times than one cares to mention. It is old school mixed with a little new. The power plant is a F20C, from a S2000.

Forza Inter

Yesterday's Champions League game was a nail biter until the final whistle. Inter went into the Nou Camp with a 3-1 aggregate lead and held on to win 3-2 on aggregate. Many believe that Inter simply played "anti-football" but I disagree. Their defense simply outclassed Barca's attack, albeit from some luck.
